The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network is dedicated to helping small businesses throughout Colorado achieve their goals by providing FREE confidential counseling and various training programs. The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state, and local governments with those of the educational system and the private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community.Whether you are in the intial stages of starting a business or guiding your existing business through new challenges or new growth, we're here to help you.

The SBDC that serves Summit County is hosted by Colorado Mountain College - Summit Campus with the home office at the Dillon Campus. FREE business counseling is provided throughout the County and can be arranged by contacting Jack Taylor at 970-468-5989 X2802 and by email at jmtaylor@coloradomtn.edu. The Dillon campus is located at 333 Fiedler Avenue in downtown Dillon across from the bowling alley.

Jack: I have two ideas for the SCLG this year and wanted your imput. One: Would you be willing to host a leads group meeting at one of the campuses? Let me know if that is something we could do. The other is pursuing the idea of an internship program (or something like it) through CMC and the Leads Group. Hooking a student up with various businesses of like interest could get us some great assistance in our business, possible new employees, and expose a student to a line of work or business they would not have normally considered in the past. Let me know what you think.....
